The appeal says: "On July 13, 2012 Anton is in custody of the Committee of State Security of the Republic of Belarus on charges of aiding and abetting illegal crossing the state border of Belarus, organized group of persons (part 6 of Art. 16 and Part 3. 371 of the Criminal Code .) Apparently, the wine Anton Surapina is only in the fact that he posted on the internet exclusive pictures of teddy bears, dropped from a plane that violated the state border of Belarus.
We believe that the prosecution Surapina directly related to his journalistic work and violates the constitutionally guaranteed right to receive, store and disseminate information.
We demand the release of Anton Surapina from custody and to terminate instituted in the criminal case against him."
