Usvizh-Buk field operated for decades. Those layers that were developed 50 years ago, had one part peat. And those that are mined now - is quite another. Today peat has less saturated carbon Vysk more ash, etc. But woe to professionals of "Vitebskenergo" and it never occurred that should have been done physicochemical analysis of peat. Instead, they handed over half a century old data. This turned out to be a disaster.

Much to the dismay of our power engineers revealed that under the present type of peat boilers built even impossible to fix, it requires a fundamentally different combustion technologies. In short, a complete sentence.

Now a new station temporarily runs on wood chips. This - the product timber production, but it made quite insufficient for the normal functioning of such a station.
