In Vitebsk region in the current year is expected to close 15 schools. Another 30 educational institutions will be restructured. Children will also be closed social shelter in Syanno district.

Situation with the closure shelter commented Head of Education, Sports and Tourism Syanno executive committee Lyudmila Aniskovich: "The number of children in need of state protection. The average number of shelters per year is four, so on April 1, it will be closed and the children, while to decide whether to their fate, we will put in Syanno boarding school."

However Lyudmila Aniskovich regretted that the demographic situation forces close and educational institutions. "In education, too, there is the economy. In small schools tuition per child per year costing 5-6 times more expensive than in the city school," — she said.
