The Economic Court of Viciebsk region recognized the economically insolvent Šumilina district consumer society (Raypo) and opened liquidation proceedings against the debtor for a period of one year, BELTA informs.

After the entry into legal force of the court decision, the anti-crisis manager Valery Baikov should begin to pay off the claimed claims of 147 bankruptcy creditors in the amount of about 3.97 million rubles due to the sale of bankruptcy property. The value of the debtor's assets is estimated at almost 4.5 million. However, as noted by Valery Baikov, this may not be enough for a full settlement with creditors, since the bulk of the property is low-liquid assets, including obsolete equipment, dilapidated equipment, dilapidated real estate. In addition, out of about a hundred identified capital buildings and facilities, only 4 facilities have a full set of registration documents, the rest of the buildings will have to work on registration, which will require time and financial resources.

The bankruptcy case of the enterprise was instituted in January 2018 on the initiative of the debtor. The resolution of the meeting of the Commissioners, which is the supreme governing body of the company, made a decision on the inexpediency of pre-judicial rehabilitation. The main activity of the company is retail trade in non-specialized food stores. According to information as of June 2018, the number of staff members was 32, of which 14 employees were on social leave for child care.
