The Economic Court of the Vitebsk region opened bankruptcy proceedings in respect of "Kuptsov" (Hlybokaje, Vitebsk region) in the case of his bankruptcy and appointed the company crisis manager, told the court.
The proceedings of economic insolvency (bankruptcy) cannery opened in late January 2015 on the initiative of the debtor. In order to verify the grounds for the opening of bankruptcy proceedings and safeguard the assets of the debtor by the court was set a guard period of 3 months. According to its results confirmed the insolvency of the enterprise, which has acquired a stable character. Preliminary amount of accounts payable plant is estimated at over Br50 billion to creditors generally tax authorities, banks and the Social Welfare Fund.
Economic Court appointed crisis manager Victor Pilecki. He will make a list of creditors and the debt of the company, to take measures to preserve property and to prepare two versions of plans for the future of the company – its reorganization or liquidation. The first meeting of creditors is scheduled for July 7, 2015.
The factory was founded in 1946, in December 2002, based on the property of an enterprise created by JSC "Glubokskiy cannery", renamed in January 2011 in JSC "Kuptsov." The state owns 100% of the shares of the authorized capital, possessory supervision by the Committee on Agriculture and Food of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. The factory specializes in the production of green peas, canned vegetables and fruits. The company employs 150 people.
