The Economic Court of the Vitebsk region on March 3 to initiate legal proceedings in the bankruptcy case of Open Joint Stock Company "Plisa flax," according to the portal system of courts of general jurisdiction of Belarus.
Plisa flax plant is located in the urban village Podsvilye Hlybokaje area. It works 108 people. This is one of the four major companies in the village, home to 2,100 people (there is Mekhkolonna, plant foods, experimental base of the Forest Institute, Academy of Sciences of Belarus). Flax mill founded in 1966. Products were sold mainly to "Orsha Linen Mill" and JSC "Vitebskobllen."
The Economic Court of the area set for the enterprise protection period, which will last three months, until June 2, 2015. Interim manager appointed Sergei Zarovkin.
The threat of liquidation occurred last fall. Flax Mill could not cope with all the tasks on their own. He was helped by the inhabitants of the Hlybokaje and the villagers. Thus, in 2014, more than 64% of the area planted flax, processed and removed agricultural area. The organization also helps plants to run a second shift, sponsors bought lubricants. In 2014, Plisa flax plant was 4.3 billion rubles of losses.
Since the beginning of 2015 in Vitebsk region of production in the bankruptcy case filed against three companies: JSC "Kuptsov" (Hlybokaje), JSC "Vitebsk Plant silk", JSC "Plisa flax." In early March, declared bankrupt JSC "Vitebsk winery" (JSC "VitVin"), the economic court area opened in respect of the enterprise bankruptcy proceedings.
