The Economic Court of the Vitebsk region declared bankrupt JSC "Vitebsk winery" (JSC "VitVin") and opened in relation to the enterprise bankruptcy proceedings, the judge said Anatoly Gureev.

The proceedings of economic insolvency (bankruptcy) plant opened in late November 2014 at the initiative of the debtor. Vitebsk city executive committee, which holds 68.33% stake, considers it inappropriate to its further pre-trial rehabilitation.

On behalf of the court during the protection period, set at 3 months, an examination of the financial condition of the Company for 2012-2014. It was found that in January 2013 the company was insolvent steadily. The main reasons for this was the acquisition of the net loss, which has accumulated over several years. By October 2014 the amount of unallocated loss amounted to 12.6 billion rubles.

In fact, the last few years of "VitVin" current activities funded by loans instead of equity. Size payables plant is estimated at 25 billion rubles. The results of examination confirmed the financial failure of the company, which is the basis for recognition of its bankruptcy.

Economic Court appointed crisis manager Vyacheslav said. He will make a list of creditors and the debt of the company, to take measures to preserve property and to prepare two versions of plans for the future of the company - its reorganization or liquidation.

The company was founded in the early 1930s, in January 2002, on the basis of the property complex of the plant created "VitVin." Specializes in the production of cider and other fruit wines, as well as the issue of tea and coffee. At the end of November 2014 the company employs 90 people.
