Uladzimier Arlou presented in Vitebsk, his book "The light from the window, but no one of it", "While flying arrow", "The country of Belarus. An Illustrated History", "The Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Illustrated History", as well as an audio version of the book "The names of Liberty".

At a meeting with the writer, held in Vitebsk Regional Library on February 7, it was more than 100 people - local writers, students, teachers, community and political activists. The event was held in the framework of the campaign "Budzma Belarusians!".

In the early creative meetings author of "While flying arrow" invited the audience to participate in a unique quiz on this book. The winners received prizes. Not all questions posed writer Vitebsk lovers of literature could be answered. This is because in Vitebsk very few people read the "Arrow", as the book is only now "to get there" to the city over the Dvina, - concluded the writer.

Uladzimier Arlou has devoted his meeting with readers the 150th anniversary of the uprising Kastus Kalinouski. He handed over to the hall stack of blank sheets, "These sheets - about the same size, which were sheets of paper on which to write letters from Kalinouski gallows. You can write to them your questions to me, in the same language in which he wrote Kastus Kalinouski".

Questions to the writer were the most diverse - about his personal life and creative plans, history and culture. Uladzimier Arlou's replies impressed listeners for their precision and wit. At the end of the event, visitors hear a few poems from the collection "The light from the window" in the author's reading, and ended with a meeting with the writer's autograph session.
