"We are witnessing the execution of the last will of uncle Ryhor. In his poem "Petition", written in 1995, there is a line, "When I leave, I put a gray boulder and a cross on a boulder ..." This will performed here on Ušačy native land."
Researcher Sergey Shapran literature adds that Borodulin will – it's not just a metaphor, he actually asked about this during his lifetime:
"I'm working on a book about Vasil Bykov, and everywhere we were accompanied by Ryhor Borodulin. We were once the old cemetery, where there are old boulders. Apparently, it is so surprised that dinner Ryhor Ivanovich said:
"I want on my grave was a boulder. The boulder with a cross. After all, the monuments in the cemetery – is a Soviet tradition, and it's expensive. So – let the boulder."
Several times I asked again about it, and he repeated it under the recording on tape. If the poem is still possible to argue, metaphor or not, the answer is recorded on tape – is precisely the will of the poet."

And Belarusians millstone – a symbol of creative fertility. And it was the custom to put a millstone on the graves of the people who had outstanding abilities were wizards.
