Vitebsk Regional Court dismissed cassation appeal of Peter Ivanov

Peter Ivanov appealed the district court judge Pershamaiski Valentina Kismeroshkina who punished him with a fine in the amount of 4,000,000 rubles for alleged perjury against the traffic police and disobeying police. According to Mr. Ivanov, the referee judged it Kismeroshkina with gross violations of procedural code enforcement, and therefore requested that the decision to cancel it. However, the judge of Vitebsk regional court decided to leave the decision of the court of first instance in force.

Namesake of Vitebsk human rights activist judge of the regional court Svetlana Ivanova, who considered the case did not satisfy almost any of his petition.
