In Vitebsk, in the local "European House" held a gala evening dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the birth of Kalinouski and the 95th anniversary of the Belarusian People's Republic.

The evening also summed up the national dictation, the winner of which - Vitebsk Regional Coordinator of BCD Tatsyana Sevyarynets - received a prize - books.

At the party in support of political prisoners were film director Valery Mazynsky, who talked about some of his films on the repressed, and the bard Andrei Melnikov, with songs from his new album.
