According to preliminary data released by the CEC on the site, the turnout in the elections on 23 September in the Vitebsk region was 80.7%. Overall turnout in Russia - 74.2%.

According to the CEC, the highest turnout was recorded in Vitebsk Vitebsk rural district (88.4%) and Senno district № 30 (88.3%). The smallest in the region - in the city of Polotsk № 28 (62%).

Neither the Democratic candidate to the parliament, according to the CEC failed. Independent observers say that in fact the turnout in the country has not held up to 50%.
