From the beginning of September in the forests of the Viciebsk region were looking for nine stray mushroom pickers, said the official representative of the Viciebsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Marina Fando, specifying that it is a case of cases in which the Ministry of Emergency Services was involved.
The largest number of lost - five people - is registered in the Haradok district, the surrounding forests of which are very popular among lovers of quiet hunting.
The last case was registered on September 7 in Vierchniadźvinsk district: a 55-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man lost their way in the forest near the village of Sarya. They were looking for workers of the ROVD, ROCHS. The mushroom pickers were able to find a local resident, an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The man participated in the search for missing persons in their free time.
On the line of the Internal Affairs Directorate only for the last three days (September 5-7) 12 applications were registered in the Viciebsk region. "The largest number of lost mushroom pickers also wandered in the Haradok district, Viciebsk district occupies the second place in this rating," said Vitaly Sapronenko, the official representative of the Viciebsk oblast executive committee.
Everyone who plans to go to the forest in the Ministry of Emergency Situations was reminded of the need to have a charged mobile phone, a supply of water and medicines. If in the plans of mushroom pickets little-known places appear, then it is necessary to specify in advance the route and the landmarks on it (power lines, railway, glades).
