"Viciebsk Spring" continues the series of publications on conditions of serving administrative arrest in temporary detention facilities. Our next author is independent journalist Kastus Mardzvincau.

On June 14, a round table of the Public Platform "Dialogue" was held in Viciebsk. The meeting was organized by the Civil Accord movement, which appeared somehow suddenly out of nowhere, but has already held a similar meeting in Minsk.

Inspired by the idea of human rights activist Pavel Levinov, who went to the temporary detention center in Viciebsk with a document from the BHC that during the detention he would monitor the conditions in the detention center, Viciebsk Spring decided to make his own monitoring. Fortunately after the mass arrests of activists in the spring specifically to sit on the "day" for this is not necessary.

The center-right coalition said it plans in May-June to apply for pickets of "non-parasites" and pickets of Solidarity in 30 regions. However, it seems that despite the demand of Lukashenka to give people the opportunity to gather in the squares and openly express their attitude to the authorities, the regions received a completely different directive.

From 11 to 14 May, the tenth international summer camp MediaBarCamp was held in Lithuania. From Viciebsk, representatives of the Republican Research and Education Public Association "Tell the Truth", members of the Vitebsk4Me initiative, party activists of the "Fair World" and young social democrats took part in the forum.
