Presentation of the anthology of Belarusian philosophy "code presence" in the city on the Dźvina concluded "Belarusian Week of thinking". The book was presented to the public Viciebsk Vladimir Mackievicz, who is a member of the editorial board.

It was published anthology by two informal institutions – Belarusian collegium and the Flying University. The editorial board of them came Valentin Akudovich, Irina Dubenetskaya, Maxim Zhbankov, Igor Babkou, Paul Barkovski and, of course, Vladimir Mackievicz. The role of the editor in chief and head of the group served Tatiana Vodolazhskaya, which coordinates the Flying University.

What is a book? It collected the quintessence philosophy Belarus for the period of 2000-2015. Entered here 25th iconic texts of our thinkers and intellectuals, it is as if sums up the past 15 years, when there was a maturation of the Belarusian contemporary thought and intellectual discourse.

Genres and text styles are completely different: here and manifestos, and metaphysical reasoning, and criticism of, and response to the challenges, and deepen in the roots of civilization, and what it is understanding itself of the country. On the whole anthology is divided into five sections, which are in themselves and reflect the state of the Belarusian thought.

As he confessed Vladimir Mackievicz, all the time, when the work on the publication was carried out, tense debate in the editorial board. Its members, each with their own views and approaches, at times it was hard to agree among themselves what should be included in an anthology, and what is not; which texts are there to be present in principle; who will write the foreword and afterword, etc. Sometimes it happens, when it was not possible to reach a consensus and had to resort to this method as a vote.

As for the title of the anthology, there is, of course, not without controversy, but it was decided to start from the last book of Valentine Akudovich "Code of absence", as it was recognized Akudovich here first and foremost a philosopher. As a result, paraphrasing, and was born the book "Code of presence".
