In Vorša Site of ancient castle, the territory which is a protected historic area, construction work began. As it became known, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is the reconstruction of the fire station. The building is part of the fire before the war, it can be clearly seen in the photographs of Vorša made during the German occupation.

It is possible that this building does not meet modern requirements. However, it is located in the historic center of Vorša, just 100 meters from the settlement. Under the building of the fire are the foundations of the towers and walls of the legendary castle of Vorša.

For this reason, it is surprising that the reconstruction work carried out in the absence of coordination with the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus, as required by the current legislation on the protection of historical and cultural heritage. Moreover, the reconstruction project in the historic center has not put up for public hearings.
