Contrary to the promises of the authorities of the Viciebsk Region and Chairman of the Executive Committee personally former Privokzalny park in Połacak was converted into a parking lot. Połacak residents outraged by the decision of city authorities - to allow sawing trees in the park in front of the railway station. Half of the park with dozens of trees have already precinct, and work is underway to build parking for cars in front of the new shopping center.

In 2013, Alexander Kosinets, being the chairman of the regional executive committee, promised Polochans that not a single tree in the park will not be cut down. But with the increase Kosinets office until the head of the presidential administration of his words have lost effectiveness.

Now residents of Połacak again collecting signatures under the appeal to the prosecutor's office to the regional authorities and Alexander Kosintsev the presidential administration. On the construction of car parking on the site of the square did not say anything. And now, in the department of architecture of Połacak say four sawing trees near the station provided by the project, that the shopping center can not be operated without a sufficient number of parking spaces.

Recall the fall of 2013 the public Połacak spent most civil campaign to protect the trees in the station and the park has been successful. Gone are three meetings of urban public to submit complaints to regulatory authorities with thousands of signatures, meeting with the chairman of Połacak Regional Executive Committee, in newspapers and on the Internet were published dozens of reports.

The regional authorities then promised in writing that no tree on the forecourt will not be cut down. In the words of Alexander Kosinets own admission Połacak, "this outrage will not happen in Połacak and so much space for the construction of commercial facilities, where there is no need to destroy the trees."
