August 28 in the Viciebsk regional court presided by Judge Eugene Davlyuda judicial board continued the trial, which began the day before, for the murder of 11 April the Chief Inspector of Nature Protection of the Vorša Interdistrict Inspectorate for the Protection of flora and fauna under the President of the Republic of Belarus Gennady Ravkov.
The premeditated murder charged under para. 10 h. 2 tablespoons. 139 and Part 2 of Art. 295 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Golubev driver Tałačyn edition of the regional newspaper. And now in order. At the beginning of the trial defense counsel filed a motion to dismiss the case on the prosecution department of the public prosecutor of Viciebsk region prosecutor Anne Tylets. The defense felt that in an interview on the eve of the first national channel, she admitted to the estimated characteristics of the accused and thus showed a personal interest in the outcome of the case. Also, the lawyer made a request: to establish objective performance portrait of the deceased inspector to require the materials of criminal record and his stay in custody from 1999 to 2001.
In addition, the lawyer demanded to interview employees of Vorša Environmental Inspection on the procedure for instructing them regarding their work in the territory of the Tałačyn region - this instruction preceded the death of their colleague. The Court considered it inappropriate to meet these requests. And only about a requested priority examination of witnesses has been satisfied in full.
The first witness director of the institution "Tałačyn regional organizational structure of the republican state-public association “Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen”", Peter Soloviev. Then he was interviewed subordinate gamekeeper Alexander Kravchenko, the chief prosecution witness Victor Osipenko. All the witnesses in turn stated the facts known to them related to the circumstances of the case, responding to the questions of the participants of the hearing.

Thus, the prosecution tried to specify the maximum time of such as a lack of service weapons inspector of the deceased at the time of his tragic raid, strongly emphasizing that the inspector always strictly perform their duties - they say, was in the right place. He was characterized as an outgoing, friendly and adequate man, without any manifestations of aggression and deliberate in his actions. It was stressed that for the time of tenure, he never humiliated none of the detainees they hunters or fishermen, did not put any of them, as they say, face in the dirt, do not beat and did not show against any brute force.
The defense, in turn, highlighted the absence of a preliminary briefing with Tałačyn rangers who accompanied Gennady Ravkov in a joint raid on the hunting grounds area. In particular, as a result of examination of witnesses, it was found that the records of the holding briefing them were made after the commission of the crime. Also, the defender has repeatedly drawn the court's attention to the peculiarity shotgun "IL-17", from which the shot was made in the Inspector Gennady Ravkov that this model is not a single weapon safety device. It is this structural feature, in terms of protection, it could lead to the unfortunate death of Chief Inspector.
It turned out to be the most informative survey of the main witness, the huntsman Victor Osipenko. As a result of this survey it was established the exact time of the murder: 6:00 36 minutes. Every detail was restored picture of the events of April 11 before the shot, helped analyze printouts morning phone calls between rangers Asipenka and Kravchenko, as well as study materials investigation experiments. The Court also found out that in this raid inspectors deliberately does not attempt to verify and, if necessary, arrest Dmitry Golubev. Based on the testimony Asipenka found that before it was made a detour hunting ground sector "A", where hunting is allowed only with the participation of the huntsman, so April 11 Senior Inspector Ravkov wished to visit the sector "B", where you can hunt on their own, having to order a ticket for shooting game.
Information that Golubev poaching, and Asipenka came Ravkov repeatedly, so before they had twice attempted to verify its authenticity. But every time something prevented: the car breaks down, then suddenly received messages about the detention of another offender. Therefore, once on April 11 near the village of Pietrašy where the parental home Golubev, they decided to check if it's there, and is not involved in any illegal hunting - as it was the lack of information at that time, he permits for shooting game. On reaching the village, they visited the house Golubev through binoculars, but did not see his car there, so we decided to go by car Kravchenko on a certain route along a forest road, the poor state of which was soon stopped their further movement. Leaving the car and its driver in the woods, on the inspector and ranger had moved together.
Out on the field, three hundred meters from the village Pietrašy, binoculars, they saw a man with a gun uncovered assembled, which was moving in their direction. It was decided to test the legality of his actions. Using the landscape features of the area, they were able to remain undetected until full convergence with Golubev, whom they knew as soon as it is allowed to optical capabilities of binoculars. The first came from the forest belt Gennady Ravkov, introduced himself and asked to stop. However, what happened between the inspector and Ravkov Golubev, Asipenka just heard - they were talking loud enough - but could not see because of the shelterbelt. It took him a few seconds to be on the crest of a hill and see both the participants of the incident. According to the rangers, he saw Gennady Ravkov standing to his right side and the left side of Dmitry Golubev, who directed the gun in the abdomen inspector. The next moment, a shot rang out, followed by a gunman ran towards the cemetery, and the inspector fell to the ground, the witness said.
Hearings will continue on Monday, August 31st. Before announcing the sentence, the court has yet to figure out all the nuances. In accordance with the charges Dmitry Golubev, if found guilty, be punished with imprisonment for a term of 8 to 25 years. In addition, the collection of the charges against him includes life imprisonment and even the death penalty.
