The conference Vitebsk regional organization of the Liberal Democratic Party, which was held January 25, was attended by about 200 delegates. They represented more than 9,000 members of the party, there were in the area. Heads of regional organizations have reported on the work done in 2013. Voiced at the conference theme and local elections: the party is going to nominate their candidates for deputies of the regional council in all districts of the Vitebsk region.

Deputy Chairman of LDP Oleg Gaidukevich, who participated in the conference, kindly agreed to give an interview to "Dialogue".

"Today's conference shows that in Vitebsk and Vitebsk region there are no other political parties, except ours, - he said. – Let them people gather in the hall, at least 100 people. And it will also show the election. Among the opposition parties (and we consider ourselves the opposition, albeit constructive) will not be more candidates than we have."

"The debates, to participate in the elections or not to participate, are silly. Because if a political party is created, it is obliged to participate in all elections in the country. The party must go to the polls at all electoral systems, for any difficulties," - Oleg Gaidukevich said .
