The case took place in Barań (Vorša district). Citizen Alexander Mukhin appealed to the police with a statement about the theft of hot water from the tap. To fix the fact of the incident, the policeman arrived at the call. But not one, but accompanied by three orderlies.
At night, Alexander wanted to take a hot bath, but only cold came from the tap of hot water. About three cubes of water he poured out, waiting for the hot one, and he considered this to be the dishonesty of the public utilities: the water meter was spinning, and accordingly, it would be necessary to pay for it as hot, although the temperature was not more than 25 degrees. Without waiting for a hot bath, the citizen began to call in public services, including the police.
Despite the presence of medical workers who arrived together with the policeman, the latest statement about stealing from the tap of hot water took. And he explained: after 12 o'clock, hot water is not supplied to apartments for saving purposes. The orderlies, having listened to Alexander, withdrew with understanding.
It should be noted that the resident of Barań already found himself in a similar situation. Several years ago, after appealing to the police, he even went to a psychiatric clinic for three days. Then Mr. Mukhin not only was able to prove his mental health in court, but also to convict the state of monetary compensation for moral damage in the form of a fairly large amount for forced placement in the hospital. Both Vorša and Viciebsk regional courts then recognized his rightness.
