Activists established a cross in the tract "Warm woods" near the village Łužasna Viciebsk region. And restore one of the crosses on the edge of the village near Chajsy – put in place a new stolen by unknown vandals.

"Warm woods" as a place of mass executions often appears in the memories of local residents. For information about Stalin's repressions in the vicinity of Viciebsk collects long-activist of the Conservative Christian Party Belarusian Popular Front Jan Dzyarzhautsau. "In the tract "Warm wood" from the beginning of the 1930s there were executions of civilians. With about a month ago I was brought here a respected man who lived near here when I was a kid. And told me that as a child he and two guys went at dusk in the "Warm woods." And we saw that the car rides, stops, not turning off the lights. With the body expel people – guys saw their figures, and then heard gunshots. And there was a lot of times, and not once."

Jan Dzyarzhautsau decided that the memorial cross to stand in the place which have a witness – under the mountain, in a marshy hollow, very close to the highway leading from Viciebsk to Łužasna. On the cross affix the activists: "In memory of the innocent victims of Stalin's terror, were shot in the tract" Warm Forest "butchers of the NKVD in the years 1931-40 on the orders of the Soviet regime."
