At the end of September, one week before the date of the start of voting, only four political organizations have registered their members observers at polling stations.
According to information published on the website of the Viciebsk Regional Executive Committee, currently 441 registered party observers.
The most massive surveillance prepared to hold representatives of the Communist Party of Belarus, of which at present 317 observers were registered, representing more than 70% of the total number of registered observers. Secondly, a number of observers to 63, or 14%, is the Belarusian Agrarian Party, the third result from the Republican Party of Labor and Justice – 55 observers, or 12.5%.
As for the opposition parties, only one of them – the Party of the Belarusian Popular Front has registered at polling stations 6 (!) Observers, that is, 1.3% of the total number of registered controllers for voting in the Vitebsk region. Other political structure, opposing the current regime does not put its observers. This fact can be explained only by the fact that the opposition parties headed for ignoring the current election campaign.
However, it defies any logic position of the leaders of the Viciebsk regional organization of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus, whose leader Sergei Gaydukevich once again actively trying to become president. In Belarus, Vitebsk region companions Zhirinovsky are not accredited observers in any territorial or in precinct election commissions.
