One of the first in the Viciebsk region executive committee of Viciebsk district determined the place in which the prohibited conduct pickets for collection of signatures for nomination of candidates for the presidency of the Republic of Belarus.

According to a decision of the executive committee banned the collection of signatures "at a distance of less than 20 meters from the buildings of rural executive committees, kindergartens, health care organizations, military units, buildings District Department of Emergency institution" Viciebsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus" facilities of water, heat and power."

District officials ordered police officers to ensure the protection of public order during the picketing, and take measures to prevent pickets in places prohibited by decision of the executive committee.

If we consider that the objects of water, heat and energy are wells, water column, power lines and heating mains, in the villages of the Vitebsk region gathering signatures is prohibited almost everywhere.
