Prices in August: the more expensive bread, milk, vodka and pasta

During the first week of August rose the most bread and vodka. Expected to increase in milk prices. But tomatoes, potatoes, carrots and cucumbers until cheaper.

According to the National Statistics Committee, from the beginning of the month of bread and bakery products rose by 3.1% (compared with average prices in July), vodka - 2.6% dry milk mixtures for infant and dietetic foods - by 1.2 % of beer - 0.9%, noodles and salt - 0.7%.

Meanwhile, the vegetables in the beginning of the last summer month cheaper. Fresh tomatoes - by 18.4%, potatoes - by 12.9%, carrots - by 10.5%, cucumber - 10.3%, beet - 7.1%, apples - by 5.2%, onion - by 3.8%.

Recall that the Economy Ministry Order dated July 31, provided for price increases in August and September at vysokatlustyya varieties of milk, yogurt, cream, and in person - at 4% per month. Limit maximum sale prices for so-called "social Milk" (nizkatlustyya dairy products), which has recently disappeared from the shelves of grocery stores in August, will increase by as much as 35% in September - 4%.

Also in August a 10% rise limit the maximum selling prices for traditional breads, loaves of bread and meat of broiler chickens. It is more expensive, explains the Ministry of Economy, due to an increase in purchase prices for grain.

Add that to the service sector during the first week of August (compared to average prices in July) grew the most maintenance of premises (26.6%), electrical services (23.7%), rail transport in international traffic (11%) and household services (2.1%).
