In Vitebsk region for violation of environmental and land legislation to disciplinary, administrative and financial responsibility involved 373 persons, said senior assistant prosecutor of the region to oversee the enforcement of environmental legislation Elena Kozlova. For 6 months of the year in this area was organized 96 inspection, the results of which produced 309 acts response to the requirements of prosecutors offset financial losses in excess of Br80 million.

Court of Polotsk August 18 refused to consider a lawsuit against the JSC "Polotsk-Fiberglass" about elimination of discrimination in labor relations. Application to the court directed the chairman of the Free Trade Union of Workers of the plant "Fiberglass" Victor Stukov (pictured). It was a second appeal to the court on newly discovered evidence, the court's refusal in the same judicial protection was in March 2013.

Several dozen residents of Vitebsk signed the collective letter to the Council of Ministers to affect change in the solution of the Vitebsk city executive committee №881 "On Mass Events in Vitebsk" and initiate an appeal to the Constitutional Court to verify compliance with this document, the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
