May 31 activists visited the forest near the village of Chajsy. They lit candles and laid flowers at the edge of the biggest pits where human remains lie. In the autumn there have been installed several crosses, and now the activists of the public initiative tied ribbons on them with the Belarusian ornament.

Activists of the public initiative “Chajsy”, created to perpetuate the memory of the victims, firmly convinced that in this forest in 1937-38 Stalin's executions were carried out.
