Eurodeputy Marek Migalski appealed to Eurocomission, as well as to the Minister of Health of Poland Bartash Arlukovich about Belarusian doctor Igor Postnov. Migalski called up for the doctor, who for criticizing the Belarusian authorities had forcibly confined to a psychiatric hospital, said assistant deputy Migalski Anna Belyas.

"In his letters, Mr. MP said there is no doubt that the sentence is politically motivated. Verdict Belarusian psychiatrist is another attempt to destroy civil society in Belarus. Due to that, Mr. MP urges to take all possible steps in an international forum for the protection of the Belarusian doctors and to take action in this matter."
