In 2013 Vitebsk became a leader among the regions in terms of growth in property prices , according to Interfax. During the year, the cost per square meter of housing in the Dvina increased by 30.8 % - from 800 to 1066 dollars. Thus, on house prices outstripped the rest of Vitebsk regional centers and is now second only to Minsk.
For comparison, the most "cheap" among regional centers of Belarus is Mogilev. There, as at December 2013 , one square meter of property worth 913 dollars.
